The Mission Muslim World University video curriculum began development in 2003 by i2 Ministries. The vision was to create a video curriculum available in 80 languages featuring the best professors in the world — giving the global church the training it needs to finish the Great Commission among Muslims.
Today, MMWU is the most comprehensive curriculum available globally in Christian missions to Muslims and Islamic studies. With a pathway to a fully online, fully accredited MA degree in Ministry with an Islamic Studies concentration (through our accreditation partner, God's Bible School & College), MMWU gives anyone in the world the opportunity to complete an advanced degree — regardless of financial resources.
Hundreds of pastors and leaders from over 70 countries have already received full scholarships to MMWU and today lead "Every Muslim for Christ" initiatives in their countries. We believe such equipping through education is an essential prong of Great Commission fulfillment.
Inside Mission Muslim World University
The MMWU curriculum consists of nine graduate-level courses (18 credit hours total) covering everything from Islamic theology and apologetics to practical evangelism strategies and church planting among Muslims. Each course is professionally studio-recorded with on-screen graphics, manuscript references, maps, and artifacts. Standard tuition is $440 per credit hour ($880 per course, $7,920 total for all nine courses).

God's Bible School & College (gbs.edu) has partnered with Mission Muslim World University to offer a pathway to a fully accredited Master of Arts in Ministry with an Islamic Studies Concentration. Students complete 18 credit hours through MMWU and 18 credit hours through GBSC for a total of 36 credit hours. This is one of the most affordable accredited Master's programs in the United States — and it's 100% online.
MMWU features contributions from over 40 globally recognized scholars, practitioners, cross-cultural church planters, and missiologists. Students can enroll at any time and work through the curriculum at their own pace. MMWU recommends students spend 15–20 hours per week, allowing them to complete all nine courses in 15–18 months. Courses are available in multiple languages including English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesian, and Swahili. Students receive signed certificates after completing each course.
MMWU students attend monthly live online interactive classes designed to build a global evangelism community. These sessions feature renowned guest professors, live lectures, collaborative discussions, prayer times, practical workshops, evangelism reports, and Q&A. Approximately 100–120 pastors and leaders join each session. Students also have access to a vibrant online student community with 800+ members from 70+ countries.
Unique to MMWU: the best way to learn to reach Muslims with the gospel is to begin meeting and sharing Christ with them yourself. Every course includes required evangelism assignments, evangelism reports, discipleship activities, and a focus on launching prayer initiatives. Students don't just learn theory — they are activated for the Great Commission during their training.
MMWU graduates become certified trainers who can multiply the training into their own churches, denominations, and networks. This is the pipeline that has launched "Every Muslim for Christ" initiatives in over 40 countries. Students complete the program equipped not only to evangelize Muslims themselves, but to train others to do the same — creating an exponential multiplication effect.
Each year since 2020, MMWU has given out over $1,500,000 in scholarships and financial aid to students in over 65 countries. This is made possible entirely through the financial donations of partners like you. Financial aid is available on a sliding scale based on annual household income, with students earning under $15,000 annually qualifying for up to 90% tuition discount.

Scaling to 1,000 Scholarships Per Country
We are ramping up our scholarship program to offer 1,000 full scholarships per country — equipping national pastors and leaders who will multiply the training across their entire denominations and church networks.
